Your Data, Explained Simply

How we look
after your information.

Cordura Limited, trading as Beho Beho Camp ("we", "us", "our"), respects your privacy. This policy explains, in plain language, what personal information we collect when you get in touch or make a reservation, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it under Tanzania's Personal Data Protection Act.

Information we collect

When you send us an enquiry or booking request, we collect details such as your name, email address, phone number, and message, along with trip details like your preferred travel dates, number of guests, and accommodation preference.

Once a stay is being arranged, we may also collect information needed to plan and confirm it — for example, the names and nationalities of everyone travelling in your party, dietary requirements, special requests, and travel arrangements such as arrival and departure details.

If you use the online trip-planning chat assistant on our website, we process the messages you send in order to answer your questions about availability and the camp.

We do not collect payment card details through our website, and we do not use advertising or analytics cookies to track visitors.

How we use your information

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, plan and confirm your reservation, communicate with you about your stay, and protect our website against spam and abuse. We may use automated tools, including AI-assisted software, to help our team read and respond to enquiries more quickly — a member of our team always reviews and confirms any booking.

Our legal basis for processing

We process your information because you have given it to us in order to make an enquiry or booking (your consent), and, once a reservation is confirmed, because it is necessary to deliver the stay you have booked with us.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate our reservations system, deliver email, and protect our forms against spam and abuse. Some of these providers may process information outside Tanzania; where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information continues to be protected.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for marketing purposes with third parties.

How long we keep it

We keep your information only for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry or stay, and for any additional period required for legitimate business or legal record-keeping purposes, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Under Tanzania's Personal Data Protection Act, you have the right to ask us what personal information we hold about you, to request that we correct or delete it, to object to how we use it, and to withdraw any consent you have given us. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with Tanzania's Personal Data Protection Commission if you believe your information has been mishandled.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details below.

Children

Our services are intended for adults arranging travel and are not directed at unaccompanied children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices. The latest version will always be available on this page.
